Children's Ministry Admin
Joanna Fowler serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Children’s Ministry Director at theGate. Prior to joining the staff at theGate, she worked for 10 years as an admin in youth ministry. During that time she was also a home school parent and travelled to Africa, Thailand and San Francisco on mission trips. She was born and raised in Virginia and moved to Franklin, TN in 2014 with her husband, Terence. They have two grown sons, one married and living in Franklin and one living in Huntington Beach, CA. Her family’s journey to the Gate is nothing short of a divine connection, and she would love to share the story with you!
The word spoken over her as she and Terence became members was “different, not over,” and Children’s Ministry has definitely been different! Her passion for the next generation continues to grow, and she loves being part of their journey as they encounter Christ and discover their identity and value as a child of God.
Along with next generation ministry, Joanna is a worshipper who is part of the Gate's worship ministry when she is not leading the puppet ministry or hanging out with the awesome kids downstairs. She and Terence also recently led the first on-line small group at the Gate, and they look forward to more connections with the Gate family.
